We've discovered that 80% of the girls we work with are on the verge with dealing with these issues: depression, drug and/or alcohol abuse, eating disorders, oppositional defiance, self mutilation, ADHD, sexual abuse/addictions, adoption issues and suicide ideations; they cry out and we answer the call. The Emotional Health surveyed 2000 girls 14 and 15 and found that teenage girls are under pressure from school, their peers and society and parents were far from a source of support.

The overall goal for this program is to create a comfortable and secure communication atmosphere between the youth, mentors, parents, and schools allowing discussions such as: self-esteem, sex, drugs, marriage, sexual transmitted diseases and other issues of this nature exposing, evaluating and providing solutions. The demand for such a program is highly needed and requested. Sisters for Sisters Empowerment Program is designed to create a positive impact in the lives of young girls that face day to day issues.
